What to choose, what is included and how the modules fit together.
Should I choose a set or an individual base?
Choose the 3-Module Station Set for tamping, tool storage and MagAttach docking together. The 2-Module Puck Prep Set pairs the tamping station and tool base. Individual bases let you start with one task or add to an existing station.
Are the coffee tools included?
No. Every option contains MagHub bases and supports only. The coffee scale, tamper, distributor and portafilter are sold separately.
Do I need a 53 mm or 58 mm version?
No separate size option is needed for these bases. The tamping support accommodates 53 mm and 58 mm portafilters. If your portafilter has an unusual handle or basket shape, contact us with its model before ordering.
Will the docks fit other brands?
The Tamper & Distributor Base is universal and fits tampers and distributors from all brands. Only the scale dock is designed specifically for the LAYBIRD MagAttach Coffee Scale. The tamping support is not brand-specific; it accommodates 53 mm and 58 mm portafilters.
Can I change the layout?
Yes. Place the tamping station on your preferred side and rearrange the magnetic modules to suit a left- or right-handed workflow.
